Dr Zawadi Daniel Limbe is a Lecturer in the Institute of Kiswahili Studies at the University of Dar es Salaam. She holds a BA with Education (Major in Political Science and Kiswahili), an MA (Kiswahili) and a PhD Kiswahili from the University of Dar es Salaam. Her main interest is in interrogating various literary theories (such as Absurdism, Post-Colonial Theory, Feminism, etc.) and their application, relevance, or irrelevance to the study of Kiswahili literature.
Over the years, she has been involved in teaching various undergraduate and postgraduate courses on research and Swahili literature. Also, she has been involved in supervising MA and PhD students. Dr Zawadi also teaches Swahili language as a foreign language. Apart from teaching and supervising, she also offers translation services to individuals, national and international agencies.
