Mr Hoza is the UDASA Representative for the UDSM School of Education. He is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology and Curriculum studies.

Mr Hoza has an MA in Social Applied Psychology and a BED in Psychology all from the University of Dar es Salaam. He has adequate knowledge in early childhood care, development and education. He has participated in various research projects focusing on early childhood development and education, special and inclusive education.

His research interests and areas of expertise include early childhood development, early identification and intervention, early childhood education, childhood developmental screening and assessment, creativity and innovation in early childhood as well as parenting.

He teaches undergraduate courses in childhood development, early childhood education, emotional and behavioural disorders, parenting education, introduction to educational psychology, early childhood developmental screening, assessment and intervention, management of early childhood institutions and psychology of exceptionality.
