Mr Changoma is an assistant lecturer in the School of Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Technology (SoAF) which he represents in the UDASA Executive Committee.

He attained his MSc in Fisheries science at Pukyong National University, South Korea and Bsc. in Fisheries and Aquaculture (UDSM). He has extensive knowledge in Fisheries science and applied Biotechnology. He has worked with different community groups in different capacities such as fishing community mobilization, participatory co-management trainings, Acting Head of Department (Livestock and Fisheries), and Tanrok (Tanzanians living in South Korea Association) representative for Busan division.

At SOAF Mr Changoma is currently serving as an Assistant Coordinator for SoAF Research, Consultancy and Publication and Coordinator of Undergraduate Studies. His research interests and areas of expertise include Fisheries Science and Technology, Fish stock assessment, Aquaculture, Recovery of bioactive compounds, Biodegradation and Bioconversion.

Changoma teaches several undergraduate courses in Fisheries sciences and technology, and Ecology. He also supervises undergraduate research projects.
